Theology on Tap has new location for Lenten series

There's a new location for the Lenten installment of Theology on Tap.

The four-week discussion series for young adults will now be held at the Otter Lodge Pub and Grill, 1776 Monroe Ave., Brighton. Each discussion begins at 7 p.m.

The series opens March 6 with Leila Kaczmarek, coordinator of youth and CYO ministries at St. Louis Church in Pittsford, who will talk about "St. Patrick's Day: The Catholic Way."

Deacon John Brasley, director of deacon personnel and director of deacon formation for the Diocese of Rochester, will speak on "The Spirituality of Fasting" March 13, and Sister Donna Del Santo, director of vocations for the Sisters of St. Joseph of Rochester, will discuss "A Lenten Journey in Faith: Is It About Justice or Just About Us?" March 20.

Deacon Kevin Carges, who serves at Our Lady of Peace Parish in Geneva, will conclude the series March 27 with a presentation on "Hope in the Developing World."

Theology on Tap is sponsored by the Diocese of Rochester's Department of Evangelization and Catechesis. For details, call 585-328-3228, ext. 1218.
