Hundreds of youths from across the Diocese of Rochester are in Indianapolis Nov. 21-23 for the 2013 National Catholic Youth Conference. New Media Coordinator Sam Oldenburg traveled to the conference with the Rochester pilgrims and is providing daily updates on what participants are experiencing.

Youths bring Stations to life

The pews of Webster's Holy Trinity Church were packed the evening of March 30 as youths from the parish performed a Living Stations of the Cross. The church was dark except for a spotlight and the small lamps of musicians, who sang and played between each station. Sister Laurie Orman, youth minister, said the teens prayed the Stations and discussed them thoroughly before planning the production themselves. Sister Orman and two of the performers spoke to the Courier about the experience.
