A black priest's experience

Father John Gathenya was ordained in 1986 in his native Kenya and became a priest of the Diocese of Rochester in 2007 through a process called incardination. In this video, the pastor of Auburn's Holy Family Parish shares some of his experiences as a black priest serving a predominantly white parish community. (Courier video by Kevin Rivoli)
