Basketball camp benefits Uganda

Participants in the Holy Cross CYO Program's basketball skills camp have brought in donated shoes and also expect to raise more than $1,000 to supply children in Uganda with basketball equipment. The idea for the camp and fundraiser came from coach and parent John Nkugwa, a native of Uganda who has regularly brought basketballs with him on return trips home. Nkugwa's ultimate goal is to someday build a basketball court for the children in Uganda, and spread the game of basketball throughout the country. (Courier video by Jeff Witherow)
