"Chamber Music for Change" presents a bold, participatory program of works by American composers who were involved in social and political movements, include John Cage, Terry Riley, Pauline Oliveros, and Alvin Lucier, on May 13 at 4 p.m. at the First Universalist Church of Rochester. "Chamber Music for Change" is a group of musicians who believe that service to individuals and the community has the power to effect change. The founding musicians are Laura Lentz, flute; Marcy Bacon, clarinet; Mona Seghatoleslami, viola; Brooke McCorkle, bass; and Heather O'Donnell, piano. Suggested donation is $15, all donations welcome. Open to everyone.
