All are welcome to a series of five Sunday morning conversations with retired Democrat and Chronicle columnist and Cathedral Community parishioner Mark Hare. Each program will be held in the downstairs Cathedral hall, following the 9:15 a.m. Mass. A light breakfast will be served.
March 5: Grandparents: Consultants, Taxi Drivers and Mentors of the next generation
With Ginny (working) and Jack (retired) Miller, parents of two, grandparents of five.
March 12: Better Together: Marriage means joy, struggle and growth
With Judy and John Finn, teachers, parents and life partners.
March 19: Every child is special; every child is a challenge
With Deirdre McKiernan Hetzler, retired pastoral associate and campus minister, a writer and expert on all things Irish.
March 26: Sandwiched: Caring for parents and children, and finding one's self on the way
With Kevin Beckford, a management consultant with a special interest in health care and banking, husband, father, son and brother.
April 2: Poverty, parish, and the roots of faith
With Sonja Livingston, Rochester native, author, teacher of creative writing.
