The 2019 Catholic Courier Coloring Contest

Coloring Contest Details:
For children ages 3-to-12
Again this year, the Catholic Courier is presenting a coloring contest for children ages 3 to 12. There will be five age categories: 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12. Children are asked to do their best coloring of the scene provided and then submit their finished work. We will then invite visitors to the Courier website to vote for the best-colored photo in each age category. The young artist receiving the most votes in each age category will win prizes.
Contest begins Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019
1. Print and color the Nativity scene. (Click here or at the photo below to print picture)
2. Then take a photo of your colored picture and either email the photo with the subject line “Coloring Contest” to

3. The deadline to submit your picture is Wednesday Nov. 27, 2019. Photos will not be accepted after Nov. 27.
4. To be eligible to win a prize, you must reside in one of the Diocese of Rochester’s 12 counties (Cayuga, Chemung, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Tioga, Tompkins, Wayne and Yates)
1. Starting Monday, Dec. 2, 2019 at noon, visit the Catholic Courier’s website to vote for the best image.
2. Visitors may vote once a day during the contest term.
3. The last day to vote for your favorite artwork is Dec. 13, 2019
4. The winners will be announced in a video in our 2019 Advent calendar on Dec. 18, 2019 (
