In place of the Advent Coloring Contest this year, the Catholic Courier is presenting “Saints Around the Diocese” contest, open to families and individuals in the Diocese of Rochester.
Starting Dec. 3, and on Wednesdays through Christmas Eve, participants are encouraged to check out the 2025 Advent Calendar for a photo or video showing a saint statue that is located in one of the churches in the Diocese of Rochester. Above the photo or video, there will be information on that saint, along with information about the church where the item is located. Families and individuals will be asked to identify the saint as well as the church in which the statue is located.
Below the photo/video, there will be a link to click on a form to submit your answers. The deadline to submit answers is by Monday at 5 p.m. (For example: Answers for the Dec. 3 contest are due by Dec. 8 at 5 p.m.)
Prizes
Prizes will be offered each week. Everyone who submits a form by the deadline will entered into the drawing for that particular week. All participants will be entered into the drawing for the grand prize at the end of Advent.
