The Abbey of the Genesee in Piffard, Livingston County, has a variety of offerings beyond the making and selling of its famous Monks’ Bread. The abbey’s three retreat houses provide visitors with a chance to reflect and pray in silence and solitude. Guests also are invited to care for chickens, goats and gardens at the main retreat building, Bethlehem House.
