The Southern Tier Pregnancy Resource Center and Schuyler Teen Center are offering an abstinence program Aug. 10-11.
“No Messin’ Around,” a presentation to promote abstinence as the healthiest choice for sexual health, will take place Friday, Aug. 10, at 7 p.m. at the Heights Theater, 210 E. 14th St., Elmira. This event is open to all teens and includes giveaways, music and skits. The next day a “Connected Parents Workshop,” for parents and other interested adults, will be held at 9:30 a.m. at the Elmira Holiday Inn, 760 E. Water St., Elmira. Both events are free.
