A number of events are being conducted in the Diocese of Rochester in honor of the feast of St. Patrick, which is March 17.

St. Mary Church – 15 Clark Street, Auburn
St. Mary Church in Auburn is sponsoring a drive-thru take-out dinner on March 17 from 4-5:30 p.m. Dinner includes corned beef and cabbage, potatoes, carrots, salad & dressing, soda bread and dessert. Knights of Columbus 17086 is having a corned beef and cabbage takeout dinner on March 20 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Pick-up is at the St. Pius Parish Center. Order online and pay at kofc17086.square.site or order by phone (585-340-7370) and pay when you pick up.

Church of the Assumption – 20 East Avenue, Fairport
The Knights of Columbus at Church of Assumption are sponsoring a takeout dinner of corned beef and cabbage on March 13 from 5-7 p.m. Advance tickets available by contacting either the Assumption (585-388-0040) or Church of Resurrection parish office (585-223-5500).

St. Joseph Church – 43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield
Bishop Salvataro R. Matano to preside at the 9 a.m. Mass March 13. Previously on the Saturday before St. Patrick’s Day, downtown Rochester is filled with Irish festivities beginning with Mass at St. Mary Church followed by the St. Patrick’s Day parade and 5K race. Because of COVID, the parade is going to be virtual and will be broadcasted on WROC-TV Channel 8 at 11 a.m.,

St. Patrick Church – 1583 Grand Avenue, Savannah
St. Patrick Church is having a drive-thru ham supper on March 17 from 4:30-6 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for children under 5. Tickets can be purchased from Aggie Arliss at 315-365-3136, Gloria Garofono at 315-923-4361 and Lisa Donovan Taylor at 315-946-5353 or the parish office at 315-902-4130 until March 11. Tickets will also be sold after all weekend Masses in St. Joseph the Worker Parish as well as the 6 p.m. Wednesday Mass in St. John Church, Clyde. Also, if you have a ticket that was purchased last year, it will be honored this year.
