Margaret Colin was a guest and briefly spoke at the Club 86 for the “Inspiring Women: Celebrating Their Legacy” sponsored by Feminists Choosing Life of NY on September 26. Colin is an American actress who has starred in major films and TV shows such as Independence Day, Pretty in Pink, and Gossip Girl. Colin plays an even bigger role as a leading activist in the pro-life movement. As former co-chair of Feminists for Life, a feminist pro-life organization, and current honorary board member of Feminists for Nonviolent Choices, Colin has stayed active and influential in the pro-life world. Born and raised in New York, Colin continues to fight for an end to abortion through her involvement in pro-life organizations such as Feminists for Life of New York. Though, her voice is heard all over not just as a Hollywood celebrity, but as a celebrity who represents a true, feminist icon for pro-life persons everywhere.
