Daniel Ruiz was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Rochester by Bishop Salvatore R. Matano during an Aug. 15 Mass at Rochester’s Sacred Heart Cathedral. Father Ruiz was set to be ordained on June 20, but his ordination was postponed due to his mother falling ill.
