Catholic Charities of the Finger Lakes in Geneva has been awarded a $10,000 Community Impact Grant from New York Life Insurance Co. to support its Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program.
"We are grateful for New York Life’s investment in this program, which will have a lasting effect on the entire community," said Ellen T. Wayne, Catholic Charities of the Finger Lakes’ executive director "New York Life’s commitment has helped us serve many people in Finger Lakes region."
The Community Impact Grant program, which began in 2008, awards grants of up to $25,000 to local nonprofit organizations that are supported by New York Life agents and employees and address the needs of the community. One hundred eighty-five grants totaling more than $2.1 million have been awarded since the program’s inception.
