Annual Fiesta slated for first June weekend

St. Rita Church, 1008 Maple Drive, Webster, will present its 52nd-annual Fiesta on Friday, June 2, and Saturday June 3.

A portion of the proceeds will be earmarked to benefit St. Clement of Rome Catholic Parish, near New Orleans, which was devastated by Hurricane Katrina.

Country singer Ciara Lynn will open the fiesta’s shows with a 6 p.m. performance on June 2. Nashville singer Sean Patrick McGraw will take the stage at 7 p.m. The Bishop Kearney Alumni Band will be featured in the fiesta parade on June 3, starting at 2 p.m. The Dinner Dogs, a band that performs children’s songs, will entertain during the afternoon, and the soul/funk band Atlas will play at 6:30 p.m.

The fiesta features a range of games and activities for children and adults, as well as food, various sales, a raffle and an auction.

Admission is free. For information, call 585/671-1100.
