Catholic Charities of the Finger Lakes will hold its annual Hoedown for Hunger fundraiser Sept. 14 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Geneva on the Lake, located at 1001 Lochland Road (Route 14) in Geneva. Proceeds from the event will support the Geneva Community Lunch Program, which each year serves 14,000 homemade, nutritious meals to people in need in and around the Geneva community.
Tickets for the hoedown are $35 apiece or $65 for two, and will grant participants access to several backyard-barbecue-themed grazing stations and a signature drink. Music will be provided by Rick Hoyt and the Cool Country Club, and Bob Nicholson will be the hoedown’s special guest caller.
