Annual Knights of Columbus drive has begun

The Knights of Columbus’ Trinity Council in Webster has kicked off its seventh-annual “Coats for Kids” fundraiser.

Since Trinity Council No. 4618 began its annual drives, members have raised enough money to buy 864 new coats for children. The coats have been delivered to St. Michael Church, Camerom Community Ministries, Focus Pregnancy Group and Mary’s Place of Rochester; Villa of Hope of Greece; Trinity Hope House in Webster; and several school districts.

The local program is part of the national efforts begun in 2006 by the Knights of Columbus in the United States and Canada.

To donate, send a check written out to “Knights of Columbus No. 4618” to Coats for Kids, c/o J. Stewart Coon, 230 Champion Ave., Webster, NY 14580-3464.
