Bishop Robert J. Cunningham, apostolic administrator, has announced the following appointments:

* Newly ordained Father Michael Costik to temporary assisting priest, St. Boniface/Blessed Sacrament/St. Mary, Rochester; Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Brockport; and Strong Hospital until Aug. 22, then finishing studies at Catholic University, Washington, D.C.

* Father Donald Curtiss to assisting priest, St. Pius Tenth, Chili, from pastor, St. Peter, Clifton Springs/Phelps/Shortsville.

* Father John Firpo to parochial administrator, Holy Name of Jesus Greece, concurrent with the pastorate at St. Charles Borromeo, Greece.

* Father John Hayes to parochial vicar, Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Community in the Finger Lakes, from pastor, St. Matthew, Livonia/St. Mary, Honeoye.

* Father Michael Mayer to parochial vicar, Our Lady of Peace, Geneva, from assisting priest, St. Pius Tenth, Chili.

* Newly ordained Father Peter Mottola to parochial vicar, St. Benedict, Canandaigua/East Bloomfield.

* Father Peter Nkansah, extern priest from Ghana, to assisting priest, St. Marianne Cope, Henrietta.

* Father Anthony Nketiah to parochial vicar, Holy Name of Jesus, Greece, until Aug. 5, concurrent with duties as parochial vicar, St. Charles Borromeo, Greece, then becoming parochial vicar, Church of the Assumption, Fairport.

* Father Leo Reinhardt to parochial administrator, Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Community in the Finger Lakes, from pastor, Immaculate Conception, Ithaca.

* Father Jerome Robinson, extern priest from the Archdiocese of Mobile, Ala., to assisting priest, Unity/Strong and Highland hospitals, Rochester, and weekend assistance, St. Columba/St. Patrick, Caledonia; St. Vincent De Paul, Churchville; and St. Mary of the Assumption, Scottsville.

* Father Edison Tayag to parochial vicar, St. Charles Borromeo/Holy Name of Jesus, Greece, from parochial vicar, the Cathedral Community, Rochester.

* Newly ordained Father David Tedesche to temporary assisting priest, St. Charles Borromeo/Holy Name of Jesus, Greece, until Aug. 1, then finishing studies at Gregorian University, Rome.
