The Aquinas Little Irish softball team defeated Penn Yan 3-1 June 2 at Monroe Community College to clinch the Section 5 Class B1 title. Junior Lexi Haley, who threw six shutout innings and struck out eight, led the way for Aquinas. They will face Geneva June 4 in a state qualifier.
