The annual Chrism Mass, during which the Oil of the Sick, the Oil of the Catechumens and the Sacred Chrism are blessed for use throughout the diocese, was celebrated by Bishop Matthew H. Clark March 30 at Rochester’s Sacred Heart Cathedral. Parishioners, priests, deacons and women religious from all corners of the diocese attended the Mass and collected the oils that they will use for sacraments during the coming year.
