The Geneva Community Lunch Program will welcome six local chefs on Oct. 24 in honor of National Food Day.
These chefs will create complete lunches using ingredients grown locally on Hobart and William Smith Colleges’ Fribolin Farm. These free lunches will be served to the lunch program’s guests between 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
The participating chefs are Carl Bray and Ardys Otterbacher of Geneva On the Lake, Orlando Rodriguez of Glenora Wine Cellars, Max Bonacci and Joe Kennedy of the Linden Social Club, and Brud Holland of Finger Lakes Made and Fox Run Vineyards.
The Geneva Community Lunch Program, which each year serves 14,000 homemade, nutritious meals to people in need in the area, is located at 340 S. Main St. in Geneva.
