Asks if priest posed same challenge to Trump, Biden voters

To the editor:

I read with interest the (March) letter to the Catholic Courier sent by Father Jim Hewes in which he exhorts Catholic Biden voters to write to President Biden protesting his positions on legislation which impacts abortion decisions.

Certainly Catholics also honor honesty, family, women, and respect for all life. I wonder if he asked Catholic Trump voters to write to President Trump protesting his continual lying, including his lies about the election which led to the violent insurrection on January 6. Or protesting his separation of children from their parents at the border. Or protesting his adulteries and his demeaning treatment of women. Or his preposterous, self-serving response to COVID-19 which cost many lives.

Just wondering…
