Auburn church to host chanted night prayer

Compline, which is the Office of Night Prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours, will be sung at 8 p.m. each Sunday evening during Advent at St. Mary Church, located at 15 Clark St. in Auburn.

This night prayer will be sung in Gregorian chant by a Schola Cantorum under the direction of Aaron James inside the church, which will be illuminated by candlelight. The prayer service is open to the public.
