The interior of St. Mary Church in Auburn will be filled with the sweet smell of flowers and the equally sweet sound of music Aug. 22-24.
Flowers will adorn the church’s sanctuary in honor of the 140th anniversary of the parish’s founding on the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Solo guitarists, pianists and harpists will take turns providing musical accompaniment to the visual display.
Members of the public are invited to stop in and enjoy the Our Lady’s Garden Flower Festival from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 22, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 23 and 1 to 6 p.m. Aug. 24. St. Mary Church is located at 15 Clark St.
