Auburn parish plans 40 hours devotion

All past and present members of St. Hyacinth’s Parish in Auburn are invited to attend the parish’s annual Forty Hours Devotion, which will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 9-11 at the church, 61 Pulaski St., Auburn.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will begin after 9 a.m. Mass and continue until the evening devotions begin. Individual confessions will be available.

Father Jude Winkler, OFM Conv., will be the guest homilist. Father Winkler has preached at parish retreats and missions throughout the country and has written more than 100 articles and 25 children’s books on catechetical themes.

The parish extends a special invitation to anyone who has been away from the church for a while or who feels a void or lack of meaning in his or her life. For more information, contact the parish office between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at 315/252-7297.
