Musica Spei, an a capella music group from Rochester, will perform at St. Mary’s Parish in Auburn at 3 p.m. June 5.
Musica Spei, which means “music of hope,” was formed in 1995 and specializes in the sacred choral music of the Renaissance period. The group of 14 singers performs without a conductor and gives several performances throughout western New York each year. The next chance to see Musica Spei will be at 8 p.m. June 11 at St. Anne Parish in Rochester. A 10th-anniversary celebration will follow that concert.
