Auburn parish’s event touts Irish Americans

St. Alphonsus Parish in Auburn will hold its third annual Irish American Festival and Sing-A-Long Oct. 22 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Rev. Clarence W. Gardner Parish Center, 85 E. Genesee St.

The festival will feature games and activities for children, as well as raffles for adults. Music will be provided by the Pat Kane Band, and Johnston’s Irish Dancers will perform. Handprints of Syracuse will be on hand selling Irish merchandise. Festival-goers will be able to purchase hot dogs and hamburgers or corned-beef and ham dinners.

Admission to the festival is free for children under 12, and tickets for adults are $5 each and may be purchased at the St. Alphonsus rectory.
