Alumni of the former St. Alphonsus School in Auburn are invited to celebrate All Saints Day at the 9 a.m. Mass Nov. 1 at St. Alphonsus Church, 85 E. Genesee St.
In 1973 St. Alphonsus School merged with Holy Family and Sacred Heart schools, and the new Blessed Trinity School was opened at the St. Alphonsus site. The school became known as St. Joseph’s School in the 1990s when the two remaining parish schools in Auburn consolidated with Blessed Trinity School.
St. Joseph’s eighth-grade class will join the alumni in the offertory procession at the Mass and will lead tours of the school for the alumni afterwards. Refreshments will also be available at the school after the Mass.
