The Rosary Altar Society of Sacred Heart and St. Ann parishes in Auburn and Owasco will hold its annual retreat Jan. 21 at Stella Maris Retreat and Renewal Center, located at 130 E. Genesee St. in Skaneateles.
The retreat is open to women from all the area’s churches and will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The retreat will be facilitated by Father Steve Lape, who served as parochial vicar at St. Mary Parish in Auburn and sacramental minister at Sacred Heart and St. Ann parishes from 2002 until 2005, when he became pastor of St. Jerome Parish in East Rochester. Father Lape will preside at the Mass at the retreat’s conclusion.
Coffee and doughnuts will be served at the beginning of the retreat, and a hot lunch will be served at noon. The $20-per-person cost for the retreat is payable at the door. Reservations must be made on or before Jan. 12 by calling the Sacred Heart Parish office at 315-252-7271.
