The newly formed Health Ministry of the Southern Tier will hold opening ceremonies and community tours Thursday, May 4, from 4 to 6 p.m. The center is located at Bath Community Care Center, 23 Liberty St., Bath.
The schedule for the event includes brief speeches; the unveiling of a new sign; and presentation of a Bath Rotary Club grant. Refreshments and snacks will be served.
The health ministry is a coalition of volunteer doctors, nurse practitioners and registered nurses who offer free health-care services for those without insurance or means of payment. Further information about the May 4 event and the ministry can be obtained by calling 607/776-8085, ext. 218.
