David Prentice, an internationally recognized expert on stem-cell research, stem-cell therapy and cloning, will give a lecture Sunday, Oct. 15, at the Rochester Academy of Medicine, 1441 East Ave., Rochester.
He will speak at 7 p.m. on “The Science and Ethics of Stem Cells,” focusing on adult stem-cell applications currently being used for injuries and illnesses. He serves a senior fellow for life sciences at the Family Research Council’s Center for Human Life and Bioethics.
