Bishop blesses Rochester church’s recovered Marian statue

A once-stolen statue of Mary that sits in the grotto at Rochester’s Holy Cross Church was blessed by Bishop John S. Bonnici following Mass Aug. 30. The statue went missing in March and was found near a dumpster several days later before being returned to the church.
