Bishop Bonnici to mark Respect Life Month with rosary, Holy Hour

Bishop John S. Bonnici is inviting the faithful of the Diocese of Rochester to an Oct. 3 Holy Hour and Rosary for Life for Respect Life Month.

The Holy Hour and rosary will take place from noon to 1 p.m. at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park in Rochester.

As a way to unite in prayer as a diocesan church, the bishop also is asking that each parish in the diocese host a Holy Hour and Rosary for Life at the same time.

Since 1973, the Catholic Church in the United States has designated October as Respect Life Month and the first Sunday of the month as Respect Life Sunday.
