Through their involvement in the project, Bishop Kearney students have been learning about production, stage management, publicity and more from Geva’s staff and the creative team of “Once.” They have connected with the Geva cast through character insight sharing sessions, a cast-to-cast dinner and visits to multiple rehearsals at Geva, including the first rehearsal and several working and tech rehearsals. They also attended Geva’s opening night production Feb. 22.
Bishop Kearney students will perform their own version of “Once” on Geva Theatre Center’s Wilson Stage March 9 at 7:30 p.m. The Geva company will attend a student cast rehearsal and be in the audience for the production.
