Bishop makes pastoral-leadership appointments

Bishop Matthew H. Clark has announced the following pastoral-leadership appointments, which took effect June 28 unless otherwise noted:

Father Peter Abue to sacramental minister, Immaculate Conception, Ithaca, until Oct. 31, during the sabbatical of Father Leo Reinhardt.

Father Robert Beligotti to parochial vicar, St. Rita, Webster, from pastor, Our Lady of Mercy, Greece.

Father Michael Brown to chaplain, Auburn Correctional Facility, Livingston Correctional Facility and Groveland Correctional Facility and sacramental minister, Sacred Heart, Auburn, and St. Ann, Owasco, from pastor, Holy Angels, Nunda, and St. Patrick’s, Mt. Morris.

Father Joseph Catanise to pastor, St. Leo, Hilton, from assisting priest, St. Rita, Webster.

Father Michael Conboy to rector, Becket Hall, from pastor, St. Jerome, East Rochester, concurrent with continuing duties as diocesan director of priest personnel.

Father Patrick Connor to pastor Holy Angels, Nunda; St. Patrick, Mt. Morris, St. Lucy, Retsof; St. Thomas, Leicester; St. Mary Geneseo; and sacramental ministry with the Newman Catholic Community at the State University of New York College at Geneseo, from sabbatical.

Father Peter Deckman to parochial vicar, Holy Apostles, Holy Family and St. Anthony of Padua, Rochester, from pastor, Our Lady of Perpetual Help and St. Michael, Rochester.

Father Douglas DellaPietra to sabbatical through December, 2005. Father DellaPietra is pastor, Church of the Good Shepherd, Henrietta.

Nancy DeRycke to pastoral administrator, Church of the Resurrection, Fairport, from pastoral leader at Church of the Resurrection.

Father Peter Enyan-Boadu to a second term as pastor, Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Brockport.

Father Francis Erb to sacramental minister, St. Gabriel, Hammondsport, and St. Mary, Bath. Father Erb is a retired diocesan priest.

Father James Fennessy to an additional year as parochial vicar, St. Francis DeSales and St. Stephen, Geneva.

Father Raymond Fleming to sacramental minister, St. Monica, Our Lady of Good Counsel, St. Augustine and Ss. Peter and Paul, Rochester, concurrent with continuing duties as pastor, Emmanuel Church of the Deaf, Rochester.
