Bishop Salvatore R. Matano celebrated the Chrism Mass March 27 at Rochester’s Sacred Heart Cathedral. Joined by priests from across the diocese, Bishop Matano blessed the sacred oils – the Oil of the Catechumens, the Oil of the Sick and the Holy Chrism – which will be used at parishes throughout the year.
