Bishop Salvatore Matano was introduced to the Diocese of Rochester at a press conference in the Diocesan Pastoral Center before celebrating Mass at Sacred Heart Cathedral Nov. 6. Bishop Matano will become the ninth Bishop of Rochester after having served as Bishop in the Diocese of Burlington, Vt. His installation will be held Friday, Jan. 3.
