Bishop Salvatore R. Matano has made the following appointments, which became effective June 28, unless otherwise noted.
* Father Sergio O. Chávez to assisting priest, St. Marianne Cope, Henrietta, from parochial vicar, St. Joseph and Holy Spirit, Penfield.
* Sister Elaine Hollis, SSJ, to ministerial service, Rochester Psychiatric Center, from sabbatical.
* Father William F. Laird to adjutant judicial vicar for the diocesan Tribunal, while continuing as pastor of St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Macedon, and dean of the Central Deanery, effective July 25.
