Bishop Salvatore R. Matano is requesting that diocesan parishes conduct second collections the weekend of Sept. 9-10 to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey.
Proceeds will support Catholic Charities USA’s emergency aid and recovery efforts in the greater Houston and southeastern Texas areas. Funds also will provide pastoral and rebuilding support in the affected dioceses through the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.
