In light of the recent violence that has been plaguing the City of Rochester and its surrounding communities, Bishop Salvatore R. Matano is inviting the faithful of the Diocese of Rochester to come together for a Mass for Peace.
The Mass will be celebrated Monday, July 26, at 7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park, Rochester.
According to information from the diocese, the Mass is being offered so the faithful can “pray together for an end to senseless violence in our community, for the wisdom to address the many societal issues that plague us, and that God’s abiding love and a reverence for all human life will prevail.”
