Bishop Sheen Ecumenical Housing Foundation, a joint effort of the Catholic and Episcopal dioceses of Rochester, is sponsoring a home-repair program in Cayuga County. The organization provides advocacy and services for families and individuals with low or moderate incomes within the Diocese of Rochester and Allegheny County.
Eligible single-family home owners may receive a home-repair grant at little or no cost if they live in the home they own. Owners of mobile homes are also eligible for the grants if they own the land on which the mobile home is located.
For an application or more information about eligibility requirements, contact Bishop Sheen Housing at 585/396-1880 or visit the office at 44 Bristol St., Canandaigua.
