Diana Hayes, author of the book Were You There? and an internationally renowned scholar, theologian and expert on the black Catholic community, will present “Were You There: Reflections on the Stations of the Cross” on Friday, Feb. 24, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the chapel at St. Bernard’s School of Theology and Ministry, 120 French Road, Pittsford.
The following Saturday, Feb. 25, Hayes will host a workshop titled “We’ve Come This Far By Faith: The Challenges of a Changing Church” from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in St. Bernard’s chapel. A light lunch will be provided.
Both events are free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted.
