Blood drive slated at St. Mary’s Parish

On June 28, St. Mary’s Parish in Canandaigua will hold a blood drive for the American Red Cross from 1 to 7 p.m. in Dougherty Hall, which is located in the lower level of the church building.

The parish is holding the blood drive in memory of Father Emmett J. Halloran, who died in March. Father Halloran had lived and served at St. Mary’s since his 1996 retirement from St. Patrick’s Parish in Macedon.

Anyone interested in donating blood can make an appointment by calling the parish office at 585/394-1220 or by choosing a time on the sign-up sheets, which will be available at the entrance to Dougherty Hall on June 5 and 6.
