‘Book Bonanza’ slated for Fingerlakes Mall

The 13th Annual Book Bonanza to benefit St. Joseph’s School in Auburn will be held July 10 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and July 11 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Fingerlakes Mall, which is located on Routes 5 and 20 just west of Auburn.

The Book Bonanza is one of the largest used-book sales in New York and last year offered more than 60,000 used books, audio books, videos and CDs. Paperback and children’s books will be sold for 50 cents each and hardcover books will be sold for $1 each.

“Better books” — books of a higher quality and value — will be sold for between $2 and $10 apiece.

Donations of used books, audio books, videos and CDs will be accepted until July 4 at the Book Bonanza book drop, which is located across from Sears at Fingerlakes Mall. Textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest condensed books, wet books and books without covers will not be accepted.

For more information about the Book Bonanza call 315/224-3941.
