On Sept. 11, 350 butterflies were released at Ascension Garden, a Holy Sepulchre Cemetery located in Henrietta, to honor fallen first responders and those interred at the cemetery. Representatives from the Monroe County Sherriff’s Office, the Henrietta Fire District, the town of Henrietta and Rochester Institute of Technology’s Air Force ROTC color guard were part of the opening procession for the ceremony.
