Volunteers are needed for Camp SOAR, an overnight camp that takes place from July 25-31 for children ages 6-14 who are infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS.
Those 18 or older, or those who have graduated from high school, may be eligible to volunteer. Needed are people with special talents; who practice hobbies that could be shared with the children; who could serve as day staff; who are certified life guards; or who are nurses, nurse practitioners or physicians.
The camp takes place at Camp Koinonia in Middlesex, Yates County.
