A Sept. 11 ceremony marked the opening of a Field of Honor display of 107 flags outside of St. Mary Church in Canandaigua to honor current and past servicemen and servicewomen, victims of the 9/11 terror attacks and first responders. The annual event has raised money for St. Mary School and for the JACK Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded following the death of 3-year-old Jack Heiligman of Webster in 2016. The Field of Honor will be on display Sept. 11-14.
