St. Mary School in Canandaigua will host a drive-through visit with Santa Claus on Dec. 4.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be stationed next to the school, located at 16 Gibson St., between 10 a.m. and noon. Cars may line up in the school’s parking lot and drive up to the “North Pole,” where Santa and Mrs. Claus will hand out candy canes and visit with children through the vehicle windows.
The event is free, but donations will be welcomed.
Later in the week, Mayflowers Nursery and Garden Center will team up with the school for a fundraiser. On Dec. 8-9, for every customer who mentions St. Mary School at checkout, the garden center will donate 10 percent of the customer’s total to the school. Mayflowers, located at 2505 Rt. 332 in Canandaigua, has Christmas trees, wreaths, garlands and boughs for sale.
