Caribbean Catholics and friends are invited to celebrate the 17th-annual Caribbean Mass at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 10, at St. Monica Church, 831 Genesee St., Rochester.
The guest celebrant and homilist will be Father Peter Gopaul from the Diocese of Brooklyn. The celebration will feature Caribbean music and musicians, and after Mass, everyone is invited to sample Caribbean foods prepared by members of the community.
Rochester also will host the Second National Convention of Caribbean Catholics Aug. 17-19.
