Catechesis of the Good Shepherd explained at Victor parish March 20

St. Patrick Parish will host an informational presentation about Catechesis of the Good Shepherd March 20 at 7 p.m. in the parish center, located at 115 Maple Ave. in Victor.

The evening will feature a question-and-answer session with catechists as well as a brief introductory talk about Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, which is a catechetical approach that emphasizes quiet contemplation and the enjoyment of God and uses the educational principles of Maria Montessori as it seeks to help each child develop a relationship with God. Participants also will be able to tour St. Patrick’s atrium, or prepared environment, in which the catechesis takes place.
